Dr. Bhatara specializes in all aspects of sleep medicine, like obstructive sleep apnea, treatment-emergent sleep apnea, and other complex sleep problems that include REM behavior sleep disorders, periodic leg moment disorders, and Restless leg syndrome. Dr. Bhatara also has extensive experience in managing newer sleep devices, including hypoglossal nerve devices like INSPIRE devices for obstructive sleep apnea. Inspire is an alternative to CPAP that works inside your body while you sleep.

Dr. Bhatara also treats the diagnosis of pulmonary conditions and diseases, including emphysema, tuberculosis, asthma, complicated chest infections, injury and complication, and respiratory diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

Dr. Bhatara is a fourth-generation doctor and lives with his family in the community. He is married to Dr. Kavita Sharma, a palliative care physician, and has a sixteen-year-old and a seven-year-old daughter name Karishma and Vaniaa.
